I grew up in a small village called Eskra, Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland. I was educated at the Christian Brothers Grammar School in Omagh, and as a result went on to pursue a degree in Computer Science from Queens University Belfast.

During my early years, and my education, I took an interest in computers, and this was fostered through my time at school, where I took on A – Levels of ICT, Mathematics, Physics and Applied Business. I also pursued my interest in Drama and Theatre Studies outside school, at Hazel Wand Theatre School in Omagh.

I have had a keen interest in computers and technology from an early age as I grew up surrounded by technology. As I became more interested in computers, I adopted a “How does it work?” attitude, seeking to know exactly how computers work and why they worked in such a fashion.

I completed my placement year in First Derivatives Plc, based in their HQ in Newry. Through my placement, I cut my teeth in working in a fast paced software development company, cutting my teeth in developing financial software and working with various web front ends.

In my spare time, I have a passion for developing apps, particularly on the Windows platform, having been recognised by Microsoft for my successes in this area.
